Kitchens

The most-used room in the house, rebuilt around the way you actually cook, eat and gather.

A kitchen should be spacious, warm and inviting, and it should work properly while it is doing all of that.

What we do

Every household cooks differently. Some need a second sink and a wider run of countertop, others need the traffic moved out of the cook's way or a wall taken down so the room finally connects to the rest of the house. We start by asking how you use the space, then design around the answer.

Because we are a design/build remodeler, the same company that draws your kitchen also builds it. Our own carpenters handle the framing, cabinetry and trim, and we bring in licensed electricians and plumbers where the work calls for them. That keeps the schedule tight and the finish consistent.

1

Layout And Workflow

Moving the sink, the range or a wall so the cook is not fighting the traffic through the room.

2

Cabinetry And Storage

Cabinet runs planned around what you own and where you use it, with the hardware scaled to the ceiling height.

3

Countertops And Sinks

More prep surface and a bigger sink are the two changes homeowners tell us made the most difference.

4

Opening Up The Room

Taking down a wall to connect the kitchen to the living space, with the structural work done properly.

5

Lighting

Task lighting where you actually work, rather than one fixture in the middle of the ceiling.

6

Flooring

Hard-wearing floors that carry through into the adjoining rooms so the space reads as one.

Very rarely. Ninety percent or more of the work is carried out by our own full-time employees. We bring in licensed specialists where the trade calls for it, typically electrical, plumbing and roofing, but the person framing, tiling and trimming your home is on our payroll. That is what lets us keep control of the schedule and the standard of the finish.

We are based on East 30th Street in Indianapolis and work with homeowners across the city and the surrounding central Indiana communities. If you are not sure whether your address falls inside our area, call the office on 317-955-8984 and we will tell you straight away.
